Synopsis

Based on the 2021 novel by Andy Weir, Project Hail Mary is an exhilarating space adventure set in the near future.

Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up alone on a space station with no recollection of who he is, or how he got there. As his memory returns in bursts, he begins to piece together that he is the sole survivor of a crew sent to the Tau Ceti - a solar system, 12 light-years from Earth.

As details of the mission unravel, Grace must call on all of his scientific training, sheer ingenuity, and human will, to reverse the impact of a space event that hurled the planet into the early stages of an Ice Age… but an unexpected friendship means he may not have to do it alone.
